The model is nicely constructed with excellent detail (the cab especially) and a very good paint job (initially). The loco was built in the late 1980s and I must have used different garter blue paints for the tender and the loco (enamel and non-enamel possibly). Result is the colours are noticeably different some 40 years on. The paintwork therefore needs some attention. Furthermore the LNER lettering on the tender is inconsistently spaced. The motor is the recommended Anchoridge D13. Cannot tell for sure without taking the model to bits. In order to run, the loco needs the attention of someone with model engineering loco skills – a complete strip down and motor servicing. The listing also includes the kit instructions and unused photo-etched and other parts. Please note it is not possible for me to deliver via InPost.

Hornby R30500 Br Royal Scot Class 46100 Oneone Collection Loco Scale 1:76 Gauge. The next model from our One:One Collection is the elegant BR Royal Scot Class’Royal Scot’ locomotive. With sprung metal buffers and NEM tension lock couplings, this steam locomotive model is DCC ready – just add a 21 pin decoder. First of the class, 6100’Royal Scot’ entered service with the LMS in 1927. Designed by Henry Fowler as a three-cylinder express locomotive with parallel boiler, a lack of capacity at its locomotive works meant construction of the first 50 was awarded to the North British Locomotive Co. The remaining 20 were built at Derby Works. 6100 swapped identities with the much newer 6152’King’s Dragoon Guardsman’ (built in 1930) in order to attend the’Century of Progress Exhibition’, Chicago, in 1933. As BR 46100,’Royal Scot’ was rebuilt with a taper boiler to its present condition in 1950. What is the One:One Collection? The The One:One Collection??????? Now before you all start.. I know that the P2s as a 2-8-2 never actually got into British Railways, all having been converted by Thompson to A2/2s (4-6-2) during the 2nd World War. But we can all dream can’t we? This is my dream! And the caretaker CME made do with the P2’s as they were. Taken into BR stock they were given the livery as you see in the photos. This loco comes from the Pro-Scale Kit, one of the most technically correct kits but a right B. D to build, the tolerances are a nightmare. Having said that this has been put together very very well. It features a Portescap RG4 Motor Gearbox & Romfords wheels. Note that the third axle features flangeless drivers thereby emulating the solution that the temporary CME used to circumvent excessive flangewear suffered by these locos whilst on the road between Aberdeen and Dundee. The model runs brilliantly (as you would expect with the RG4) and it does look a picture. Finally it comes with it’s own bespoke box.

This impressive locomotive has been converted from conventional track power to onboard battery operation with radio control and sound. It has been tested and operates correctly in both forward and reverse. Features include. Battery-powered radio-control operation. Micron TX21v2 handheld transmitter. Sound fitted. Bell switched on and off by briefly pressing the blue Bind button. Direction-sensitive front headlamp. Detailed 4-6-0 “Ten-Wheeler” locomotive and matching wood-load tender. Suitable for G Scale/G Gauge 45mm track Power is supplied by the included 9.6V 2300mAh NiMH rechargeable battery pack. Please note that a charger is not included. A lithium/LiPo charger must not be used. The included battery powered the locomotive during testing, although the future capacity and running time of any used rechargeable battery cannot be guaranteed. Included in the sale. The locomotive is in superb cosmetic condition, with excellent paintwork, lining and detailing. Bachmann Liliput L102902 GEE Henschel Fireless Werklok Tank Loco No. 3 – HO Scale. Lovely example of an unusual model in the Bachmann Liliput’First Class’ range – a Henschel Fireless industrial locomotive in bright yellow GEE livery. This is the second and final example acquired by us from a large single owner collection of continental models. The unusual shape of the loco was derived from the fact that the prototype had no firebox or boiler, and therefore no chimney. They operated via an injection of superheated water into a condenser from a stationary boiler, which would provide enough steam for a short period of operation. Whilst this limited their utility to the confines of an industrial site such as a large factory or foundry, it offered a variety of unique benefits including cheap operation, low maintenance, single crewing and a lack of smoke or sparks allowing for work in covered or otherwise volatile environments such as explosives works. Has the general quality to be expected of a Liliput First Class loco, with lighting both ends including upper headlight, smooth running with brass drivegear and a nice level of fine detailing. Would make an eye catching addition to any shunting yard scene. In near mint condition in original packaging with paperwork. Appears very lightly used, with coupling pack still sealed and unused. Please see all photos for details. Track tested and in full working order. Will be carefully packaged for dispatch via tracked service.
