Bachmann Liliput L102902 GEE Henschel Fireless Werklok Tank Loco No. 3 – HO Scale. Lovely example of an unusual model in the Bachmann Liliput’First Class’ range – a Henschel Fireless industrial locomotive in bright yellow GEE livery. The unusual shape of the loco was derived from the fact that the prototype had no firebox or boiler, and therefore no chimney. They operated via an injection of superheated water into a condenser from a stationary boiler, which would provide enough steam for a short period of operation. Whilst this limited their utility to the confines of an industrial site such as a large factory or foundry, it offered a variety of unique benefits including cheap operation, low maintenance, single crewing and a lack of smoke or sparks allowing for work in covered or otherwise volatile environments such as explosives works. Has the general quality to be expected of a Liliput First Class loco, with lighting both ends including upper headlight, smooth running with brass drivegear and a nice level of fine detailing. Would make an eye catching addition to any shunting yard scene. In near mint condition in original packaging with paperwork. Appears very lightly used, with coupling pack still sealed and unused. Hornby R30367 BR Early Class J52 0-6-0ST 68873 Loco Steam Model Scale 1:76 Gauge. 68873 was built in 1905 at Doncaster Works and entered service with the Great Northern Railway as its No. 1274, initially allocated locally at Doncaster goods yard. After becoming LNER No. 4274 in 1924, it was later renumbered as 8873 and made it into BR service in 1948 as No. It’s allocations also included King’s Cross, Hornsey and Colwick, before being condemned in September 1955. The model is finished in plain black with BR early’cycling lion’ crest as applied in the 1950s, with the five-digit number on the increased-capacity bunker sides. Bachmann H0 Scale No. 11322 GS4 4-8-4 Southern Pacific War Baby steam loco in its original box and packing. Made in China by Bachmann. Equipped with a smoke unit for realistic running. I have tested the loco and it runs well but has not been run on a layout. The loco is in as new (near mint) condition with no damage i have seen but I have listed it as used. Please study the photos carefully for details. A nice loco for a USA outline layout. I make a small charge (incorporated within my postal charge) to cover the cost of packaging materials.

Hornby R30405 Gwr Lord Palmer 2975 Loco Steam Model Railway 00 Scale 1:76 Gauge. The mighty Saints have arrived at Hornby and the newly tooled’Lord Palmer’ makes an excellent addition to any model railway layout. Entering service in March 1905 as the unnamed No. 175, the locomotive was given the name Viscount Churchill in 1907 and numbered 2975 in December 1912. In February 1924, the locomotive was renamed Sir Ernest Palmer, but when Baronet Palmer gained peerage in June 1933, it was renamed Lord Palmer in the October. The locomotive was extensively damaged in an accident while hauling a goods train at Appleford in December 1942 and was finally withdrawn on 30th November 1944 from Bristol Bath Road shed after a creditable 39 years and nine months of service. Designed for express passenger work on the London & South Western Railway, 66 of these elegant 4-4-0s were built between 1899 and 1901. Built at the LSWR’s Nine Elms Works, No. 30338 entered service in October 1901 as No. 338 and lasted in service until withdrawn by British Railways in April 1961, having completed a respectable 59 years and six months. This locomotive was the last of the class to be built at Nine Elms and had a wider cab and revised splashers compared to earlier class members. Hornby R30403 BR Saint Class David 2920 Loco Steam Model Scale 1:76 Gauge. Of the 77 Saint Class members built by GWR between 1902 and 1913, 2920’Saint David’ was one of the 47 that survived beyond nationalisation of Britain’s railways in 1948. Part of the third batch of 20 to be built in 1907, the locomotive was new to Cardiff Canton shed. It underwent several changes during its career, including the fitting of a superheated boiler in 1909 and outside steam pipes in December 1932. This model is presented in BR livery, the condition in which it operated through to its withdrawal in October 1953, by which point it was one of the last four still in service. We developed this with the helpful guidance from the Didcot Railway Center who kindly gave us access to their archive of drawings and access to the Lady of Legend locomotive. The Saint class model features a powerful 5 pole skew wound motor and flickering firebox, and is designed to be fully compatible with the HM7000 21-Pin decoder for full DCC and sound control. Even if noted as running well, it is always advisable to do a proper clean and lube before extensive running as dust, old lube, aged rubber, etc all need attention. Specific comments for this item follow below. Tested and running good, but the motor is really noisy, when the voltage is increased. This is not a fast loco, and so is meant to be run slowly. Could use an oiling, as I suspect there is none. Does not have split gears etc, as these are metal. You will get what you see, if you don’t see it then it isn’t included. If not sure, please ask me. In particular, if I don’t show or state there is a box, or battery, etc then there isn’t. Please don’t assume there is.
