Rivarossi HR2882 2-Truck Heisler Steam Locomotive – Curtis Lumber Company No. Model features working directional lights and Heisler V cylinder formation. Very good condition as I’ve only used it a few times. Motor seemingly slightly noisy from factory – this is the second one I’ve owned and both were like that. Other than that a very smooth runner and pulls well with such a low gearing.

Robustly built and powerful, the BR 55. Locomotives, as they were known from the end of the 1920s, were in service with both the German and some European railway administrations until well after the Second World War. Chassis, wheelsets, boiler, and tender made from die-cast zinc; bodyshell made of high-grade, finely detailed injection-moulded plastic. Fully detailed cab interior featuring separately applied components and printed cab curtains. Close-coupling kinematics between locomotive and tender for minimal buffer distances. Screw-type drawbar between loco and tender, length-adjustable for prototypical distances. NEM 362 coupling pockets at both ends for standard coupler compatibility. The loco is still in fantastic condition as seen in the photos, could do with a little dust in a few small areas. The loco was in good working order when last used, however this was quite a while ago. Comes with the original box – but is a little bit worn as seen in the photos.
