Kit Built Finescale O-Gauge 7mm Scale BR Black Late Crest 4F No. 44558 Weathered Can Motor. (Please see Ellis Clark testing card in the Photos). Unfortunately it was never opened or removed from the Ellis Clark packaging to run, It has only been removed to check the contents and ensure that it runs OK on a track using an analogue controller for this listing. Wheels have some light rust, which can be removed with wire wool. This item has been held in a storage for some time and may have become damp at some point in the past, as such the item, cardboard and or packaging may at times (but not always) smell musty and may have some staining in places. Any ferrous metal parts may have but not always become rusty and may require cleaning / oil / or freeing. The outer packaging may have some marks / fading / staining due to it age and where it has been in storage. I have made every possible effort to detail, explain and show the current condition regarding the above item, including any damage which I can visibly see to the item or its packaging. I may have inadvertently made a mistake in the listing. If you feel that the item which you have received and or come to collect is not as I have described / or shown in photos of the listing. Clear photos will be taken to include the item packing label this to fully document the exact condition of the item, before the item is securely packed up before posting or collected. It does look like it has been made by Samhongsa or similar, but has no markings other than the KTM gearbox. One of the pipe mounts on the left side under the cab has broken and needs to be glued back into position.

KTM – Japanese Brass? EXCELLENT USED – With some light marks. This locmotive has been professionally assembled and painted in late 1940’s Canadian Pacific Livery. All driving wheels are sprung. Fitted with a large can type motor with KTM or similar gearbox. I think the chassis has been modified from a KTM locomotive with a body and tender made to suit from a brass kit. The body kit is possibly by Locomotive Workshop. Comes in a purpose made display case. See pictures for details. But this depends on box size finally used, item sizes and weight.
