Now before you all start.. I know that the P2s as a 2-8-2 never actually got into British Railways, all having been converted by Thompson to A2/2s (4-6-2) during the 2nd World War. But we can all dream can’t we? This is my dream! And the caretaker CME made do with the P2’s as they were. Taken into BR stock they were given the livery as you see in the photos. This loco comes from the Pro-Scale Kit, one of the most technically correct kits but a right B. D to build, the tolerances are a nightmare. Having said that this has been put together very very well. It features a Portescap RG4 Motor Gearbox & Romfords wheels. Note that the third axle features flangeless drivers thereby emulating the solution that the temporary CME used to circumvent excessive flangewear suffered by these locos whilst on the road between Aberdeen and Dundee. The model runs brilliantly (as you would expect with the RG4) and it does look a picture. Finally it comes with it’s own bespoke box.

The Pro-Scale Kit Built Brass BR 2-8-2 Class P2 Loco 2001 “Cock O’ the North” is a highly detailed model steam locomotive, designed in 1:76 scale for collectors and enthusiasts of model railways. This replica of the London North Eastern Railway’s Class P2 locomotive, featuring a green corporate livery, is made from brass and operates on a two-rail analogue control system. I’ve said earlier that the Pro-Scale kits are a technical challenge but when put together correctly, as this one has, they make. A super model and this one is no exception. Romfords wheels and 40:1 gears plus a D13 5 pole motor complete the picture. It runs well on my Rolling Road but there is a’knocking’ sound somewhere in the valve gear.

Chunky 0-16.5 scale 0-6-0T built on a Hornby chassis, appears to be little used and runs well (OO scale track 16.5mm). Dimensions 5.5″ x 2″ wide x 2.75 high- quite large so please check it’s ok for your layout’s clearances. Comes complete with Kaydee type couplings at both ends, lined out dark green colour scheme and even some coal in the bunker! Be the envy of your friends and acquaintances as the proud owner of no. O-16.5 scale is O scale locos and stock running on OO gauge track.

Kit Built Finescale O-Gauge 7mm Scale BR Black Late Crest 4F No. 44558 Weathered Can Motor. (Please see Ellis Clark testing card in the Photos). Unfortunately it was never opened or removed from the Ellis Clark packaging to run, It has only been removed to check the contents and ensure that it runs OK on a track using an analogue controller for this listing. Wheels have some light rust, which can be removed with wire wool. This item has been held in a storage for some time and may have become damp at some point in the past, as such the item, cardboard and or packaging may at times (but not always) smell musty and may have some staining in places. Any ferrous metal parts may have but not always become rusty and may require cleaning / oil / or freeing. The outer packaging may have some marks / fading / staining due to it age and where it has been in storage. I have made every possible effort to detail, explain and show the current condition regarding the above item, including any damage which I can visibly see to the item or its packaging.
