This has been a good runner on my line, but since converting my line to steam running this no longer sees much use. It’s a very nice model and still is in very good condition for its age. Still has its original etched plates, parts diagram, and even the original oil bottle. The outer box is a little tatty but the contents are good. Please inspect the pictures.

This spectacular P2 from my collection was professionally built in 1999. Since that time it has been in storage and never used, until I tested it today. The loco runs well backwards and forwards although comes off the track at bends, so some fettling with the bogey wheels and cab wheels is required. Apart from a couple of tiny chips on the footplate, the loco is completely unmarked. It has a beautifully detailed pipe work and the detail inside the cab is stunning. It is an etched brass kit with Nickel Silver valve gear and White Metal /Brass detail castings. These Nigel Gresley designed locomotives were designed to operate on the harsh Edinburgh-Aberdeen Line. This loco is the first of six built in the class and was constructed in 1934 at the Doncaster works. Renowned the world over, the LNER Class A10 103’Flying Scotsman’ takes centre stage in Hornby’s WWII 80th Anniversary Collection, finished in its iconic wartime black livery, this 00 gauge model is DCC-ready with a 21-pin socket, allowing for seamless integration with modern digital control systems. Completed in February 1923,’Flying Scotsman’ entered traffic in LNER apple green with the GNR number 1472, the first of six numbers it would carry during its lifetime. It soon received the number it is best known for, 4472, and was painted plain black in April 1943. Renumbered 502 in January 1946, just four months later this was changed to 103, before emerging from its rebuild as an’A3′ in apple green livery in January 1947. It then became E103 under BR in March 1948, before receiving its final number, 60103, in December 1948. Hornby R30403 BR Saint Class David 2920 Loco Steam Model Scale 1:76 Gauge. Of the 77 Saint Class members built by GWR between 1902 and 1913, 2920’Saint David’ was one of the 47 that survived beyond nationalisation of Britain’s railways in 1948. Part of the third batch of 20 to be built in 1907, the locomotive was new to Cardiff Canton shed. It underwent several changes during its career, including the fitting of a superheated boiler in 1909 and outside steam pipes in December 1932. This model is presented in BR livery, the condition in which it operated through to its withdrawal in October 1953, by which point it was one of the last four still in service. We developed this with the helpful guidance from the Didcot Railway Center who kindly gave us access to their archive of drawings and access to the Lady of Legend locomotive. The Saint class model features a powerful 5 pole skew wound motor and flickering firebox, and is designed to be fully compatible with the HM7000 21-Pin decoder for full DCC and sound control.
