Bachmann Liliput L102902 GEE Henschel Fireless Werklok Tank Loco No. 3 – HO Scale. Lovely example of an unusual model in the Bachmann Liliput’First Class’ range – a Henschel Fireless industrial locomotive in bright yellow GEE livery. The unusual shape of the loco was derived from the fact that the prototype had no firebox or boiler, and therefore no chimney. They operated via an injection of superheated water into a condenser from a stationary boiler, which would provide enough steam for a short period of operation. Whilst this limited their utility to the confines of an industrial site such as a large factory or foundry, it offered a variety of unique benefits including cheap operation, low maintenance, single crewing and a lack of smoke or sparks allowing for work in covered or otherwise volatile environments such as explosives works. Has the general quality to be expected of a Liliput First Class loco, with lighting both ends including upper headlight, smooth running with brass drivegear and a nice level of fine detailing. Here is another mth challenger. I bought this as a project but I simply have too much to do, and so its up for sale. The original mth decoder has been REMOVED, and a tcs wow sound decoder installed instead. Sadly this decoder doesnt work now, and so it will need to be replaced. This was done via hard-wiring and so will need some soldering etc. Lights smoke etc not checked/may not be installed.. Motors are present and likely work, they usually dont stop functioning! Smoke deflectors need to be glued back on. The piece which connects the loco and tender is slightly loose but this is since the old mth connector board used to run on that. A nice project, a great loco too. This WILL NOT WORK as-is.

Tested and running well, but when it gets to higher speeds near the max of what my controller outputs the board in the tender starts to smoke. The board is faulty and will need to be replaced! – This could be how these boards were designed and simply cannot handle the max voltage. Note it currently has a “burnt out” smell to it from testing, but this will go away within a few weeks/days.

Tested and running very well, very, very smooth too. Note it only starts to noticeably move after speed step 9 on my gaugemaster prodigy express. With full dcc sound, lights etc. Beautiful locomotive, looks amazing! Front unpowered truck is loose in a bag, with screw and spring. In very good condition, very little use. Note: The sound is fully working etc, but it could likely use a better speaker – the ones nowadays are 10x better, and are only like 5GBP. You will get what you see, if you don’t see it then it isn’t included. If not sure, please ask me. In particular, if I don’t show or state there is a box, or battery, etc then there isn’t. Please don’t assume there is.

Hornby R30367 BR Early Class J52 0-6-0ST 68873 Loco Steam Model Scale 1:76 Gauge. 68873 was built in 1905 at Doncaster Works and entered service with the Great Northern Railway as its No. 1274, initially allocated locally at Doncaster goods yard. After becoming LNER No. 4274 in 1924, it was later renumbered as 8873 and made it into BR service in 1948 as No. It’s allocations also included King’s Cross, Hornsey and Colwick, before being condemned in September 1955. The model is finished in plain black with BR early’cycling lion’ crest as applied in the 1950s, with the five-digit number on the increased-capacity bunker sides.
