It is the DJH kit version suitable for North British built locomotives Nos. (4)5557 to (4)5606. NO wheels nor motor are included with this lot. This kit is in EXCELLENT UNUSED / UNSTARTED condition, but the box shows storage marks including modest indentations. NOT SUBJECT TO RETURN.

Between then and 2000, the team regularly attended thousands of events across the UK – building a loyal customer base. LAUNCHING THE STORE 1980. With a growing legion of regular customers building up, a’proper’ shop was required, and Rails moved to Chesterfield Road in Heeley Bottom, a few doors away from the current shop. Rails moved to another shop on Chesterfield Road and established the first part of its permanent base. In 1996, the neighbouring shop unit was acquired and a period of rapid expansion followed. Rails then launched its first website and was pioneering online model railway retail for both new and second hand items. The late-1990s also saw the growth of the’limited edition’ business – with many exclusive liveries commissioned from major manufacturers. Rapid Expansion – 2000. To feed this expanding business, the Barber family scoured the country (and sometimes further afield) acquiring model railway collections. A New Era – 2010. Sadly, Hedley Barber passed away on August 11th 2015, leaving his son John and grandsons Adam and Oliver and John’s wife Tracy to manage the company he founded, with support of other family members and long serving staff. Remaining a family operated business, Rails continued to thrive in the late 2010s. A major milestone was the opening of the impressive show room in 2018, which features beautiful displays of popular locomotives and rolling stock frames amongst real Sheffield steel, stone walling and natural material. This was the catalyst for the refurbishment of the entire’front of house’ shop now occupying five formerly separate units. Rails also branched out into the new areas such as commissioning its own exclusive model product under the new’Rails Limited’ brand, bringing new model to the public such as the Stroudley’Terrier’ steam locomotive with Dapol and North Eastern Railway Electric Autocrat with Heljan. OcCre’s wood and metal kit contains all the parts necessary for making an accurate and impressive replica of the Adler Steam Locomotive and 3 Coaches. Laser cut wooden parts make up the loco body, which is then covered with individual African walnut strips. A large array of cast metal parts forms rods, buffers, carriage springs, bushes and couplings. Brass parts include piston, connecting rods, bands, handles, connecting rod, hook and chain. The tender is complete with such life-like details as hatch covers, grating- even a load of coal gravel. Scale 1:24 Gauge G-45 (45mm). This magnificent express locomotive was used to pull heavy passenger trains, accelerating them to a dizzying 120 kilometres per hour. Today, it can take your breath away, completing the collection of every dedicated railway fan! The model released by COBI is BR03 273. The locomotive is almost 70 centimetres long and is made of 2700 elements. The new large wheels intended for express locomotives immediately catch your attention. The steam locomotive has all the most important shapes of its original model reproduced. The durable construction makes the locomotive heavy, but at the same time it works perfectly. The system of rotating gears placed in the frame make the wheels connected by trusses to the steam piston rotate like on a real locomotive. Interesting design features include: a reproduced driver’s cabin with a firebox, throttle and other elements important for controlling the locomotive, as well as an opening smoke box. The locomotive comes with a block tender, necessary for driving a steam locomotive. The real tender of the BR03 locomotive held 32 cubic meters of water and 10 tons of coal. This sale is for a LSWR B4 Class Locomotive by Dapol. Reference number 4S-018-003 Southern Green 88. Authentic 1.76 Scale Model 00 Gauge. Comes with Owners Manual. This was part of my father’s collection and to the best of my knowledge was only used for display purposes. Box only opened to enable better/more detailed photos. Will be sent in original box (as shown) with card/polystyrene peanuts and weather protection.
