Romfords wheels and 40:1 gears plus a D13 5 pole motor complete the picture. It runs well on my Rolling Road but there is a’knocking’ sound somewhere in the valve gear.

Even if noted as running well, it is always advisable to do a proper clean and lube before extensive running as dust, old lube, aged rubber, etc all need attention. Specific comments for this item follow below. Tested and running very well, very, very smooth too. With full dcc sound, lights etc. Beautiful locomotive, looks amazing! In very good condition, very little use. Note: The sound is fully working etc, but it could likely use a better speaker – the ones nowadays are 10x better, and are only like 5GBP. IT is made from a metal material, very solid and good looking! Set to dcc code 2, start up is function 3. Missing the front piece on the cow catcher – you only need this if you dont want a coupler at the front. You will get what you see, if you don’t see it then it isn’t included.
