For sale one Eureka Models HO scale New South Wales Government Railways AD60 class Garratt locomotive no. Comes in original box. This model has been slightly modified by me, with the windows cut out to represent an open window (which matches the prototype on almost every photo I’ve seen). I have also modified the coupler trip-pins, bending them up so that they don’t catch on the track, as the couplers are a tad low on this model. I have owned this model from new, it has had perhaps 6-10 hours running or been on display. Unfortunately some small parts have become separated from the model and are lost, including unfortunately one set of steps on the rear, which sadly I have been unable to locate. The model does include etched brass number plates, which the purchaser could use to place over the top of the existing painted numbers. This model is’DCC sound-fitted’ and includes a manual. Precision Scale Co. HOn3 Brass RGS #22 4-6-0 Painted & Weathered Pittman Can

OK RGS Fans – Here is a beautiful example form the PSC Run of RGS #22’s. Originally a Florence & Cripple Creek Locomotive. Sister locomotive #20 has been fully restored and now runs at the Colorado Railroad Museum. This example is special. She is especially clean and has had extra details added such as the screen on the cap stack and an amber headlight lens that does function. The tender has coal in the bunker and professionally installed marker lights with jewel lenses on the rear of the tender. There is a water pouch hanging outside the firemen’s window of the cab which is very prototypical from the narrow gauge and in general steam days as the cabs were so hot this was a way to keep the water somewhat cool and refreshing for the crew! The whole package has been tastefully weathered. The drivers are clean – appear light run time or has been serviced and maintained. She runs in forward and reverse with good slow speed control and no hesitation. She is DC currently but there is room in the tender and boiler for a Tsunami II steam 2 decoder installation and the new TCS Keep -Alive Capacitors will also fit. All brass locomotives require a bit of knowledge and TLC – weather it be tuning, re-gearing, updating to DCC, other servicing, etc… I was originally planning a DCC conversion for this loco and can make a reliable recommendation to anyone who is interested for that service.
