Even if noted as running well, it is always advisable to do a proper clean and lube before extensive running as dust, old lube, aged rubber, etc all need attention. Specific comments for this item follow below. Tested and running well, with what I believe is esu dcc sound, but the screw to open the tender is stripped. Has a suger cube speaker, as can be seen from the crack in the shell near the front. (As shown) Startup is function 8, so I also think this is esu. Weathered nicely, a little dirty too. Some semi-detached detail bits, see pics! This is a general description for these locos. They have all been in storage some time, and so will require a service. Some have dirty wheels, and so are intermitant, but motors etc are all working fine. You will need to give them a service before running, you cannot just put these on your layout and expect them to go perfectly. You will get what you see, if you don’t see it then it isn’t included. If not sure, please ask me. In particular, if I don’t show or state there is a box, or battery, etc then there isn’t. Please don’t assume there is.
