NJ Brass Reading Class G3 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender made by KSM in Korea and imported in 1979. Very nice model with SoundTraxx Tsunami DCC/Sound. Model runs really nicely, and sounds great. Features back head detail and can motor. Custom paint looks good, the decals are showing a little haziness. Lights installed and working, speaker in tender connected with bi pin plug. Model shows some wheel wear, and holes in tender for speaker could have been drilled a little neater. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows as needed. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. Loose cars will be wrapped in tissue paper, then bubble wrap.
