Here for sale is an OO gauge ex LNER V2 class 2-6-2, No. 60847’St Peter’s School’ in BR lined green with a late crest, manufactured by Bachmann (35-202). This is the much improved new tooling by Bachmann. This loco is as new, having only been on display as part of a collection. I have checked it over and given it a test run which it does nicely. Please observe any running-in instructions. Naturally all detailing parts and instructions are present. If you have any questions please ask and thanks for looking!

Eighty-two V1s were built, 71 being rebuilt into the V3s. An additional ten were built as V3s from the final batch of V1s. Developing the V3 from the V1 gave it an increased boiler pressure and thus increased its tractive effort. During the Second World War, a number were transferred to help with heavy wartime loads from the Royal Ordnance Factory at Thorp Arch near Wetherby until the end of the war.
