Only removed from box to take pictures and test to make sure all is good. Lots of fantastic detail’s and well built by Bachmann that has come a long way in quality. Runs like new because it is new. Lubed and ready to be put on your layout. On offer is a Sunset Models 2 rail O Scale 2-10-0. Please note the following.. In general everything is square and tight. The air cylinder casting has come adrift, included. At some point someone has re attached it as there is evidence of an adhesive at the mounting point. It really needs to be resoldered in place.. A run on my test bench shows the locomotive runs smooth. Current draw around 0.5A, which dropped with a few minutes of running. The cab fall plate has broken away from the model. One of the cab window sunshades has broken away from the cab, both parts present and included. The front left running board is loose, but attached. The steam turret is loose, but remains attached. The 2 steps at the pilot are bent from transit damage (likely). These could be bent straight, but with extreme care. I have no idea of date of production for this piece maybe the mid 1980’s at best?
