Here we have for sale a beautiful large Markie scenic showmans engine, this is the full size Markie 1:10 scale so a bit bigger than 1 scale not to be confused with the little gem version. This engine is the full coal fired version with grate and water gauge, pressure gauge and hand pump in the belly tank. These shine up beautifully all the ornamental brass and fittings polish up beautifully and this will look a treat cleaned up. Ive owned a few of these, this one is in very nice condition but could do with added details to bring it to life, notably canopy lighting which is available on here or you can produce yourself, these engines generate well and this one is fitted with the scenic spec exciter. The engine is complete as shown, complete with winch cable, rear scenic crane, chimney extension and some paperwork from Markie. A beautiful and heavy engine it is over two feet long and a great showpiece or good start for a running engine. These are rare engines in full size 1:10 and coal fired. PFM Atlas Brass HO Scale Santa Fe 4-8-4 Northern Locomotive Custom Paint

Locomotive has been custom painted and looks good. Paint is in good condition with a few very small chips. Model runs well, I would rate the running noise at 6 with 1 being quietest, and 10 being loudest. Wheels show light wear, plating looks good. Original box and foam in good condition, box has wear on corners. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows as needed. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. Loose cars will be wrapped in tissue paper, then bubble wrap. 905-72 From the 1940’s here is an AMERICAN FLYER S SCALE #342AC 0–0 NICKEL PLATE ROAD DIE-CAST STEAM LOCOMOTIVE & TENDER SET IN EXCELLENT READY TO RUN CONDITION. The loco features a black painted die-cast boiler and tender that are clean and have no breaks. The loco was layout tested and it is a super runner, the smoke and choo-choo unit work, there is a working headlight and back up light in the tender, the reverse unit works as it should, there are new connecting wires from the tender to the boiler and there is a new link coupler on the tender. The rear hand rails on the tender are missing as are the two small handrails on the front pilot. The loco comes with an original paper wrapper that is in good condition but unstamped.
