2-8-0 Steam Engine and Tender. Great looking brass set. This set was tested and it worked really nice in both directions. I question if this set was factory painted and I’m thinking it was done later. It presents well, but it is not a high end factory job. The weight in the cab was added at a later point. The set does not have working lights. Some extra small screws and instructions are in the box. The box has some shelf wear, tape residue and a nice factory tag. Please review all the pictures. This engine is in perfect cosmetic condition with decent custom paint and fantastic decal work with no silvering or bubbling. This berkshire is perfect for workaday use around your layout. The engine has its original open frame motor which needs to be cleaned and lubricated or replaced with a can motor and have DCC and sound installed. The mars light, headlight, and backup light on the tender work quite well and are quite bright. The locomotive does run but it is slow, stiff, and noisy due to the current state of the open frame motor. The engine comes with a replacement box. The Condition is Used.
