Steam and Hydraulic certificates expire September 2019. It has proven itself to be a strong performer, regularly hauling trains of up to 18 people on the 1.25 mile circuit. In recent years it has proven to be reliable and an enjoyable engine to drive, steaming well and being simple to prepare and dispose. Unfortunately we are not finding sufficient time to enjoy her, and so its time for a new owner to take over. Since we have owned it I have fitted a vacuum ejector, replaced two crank pins, machined and replaced both pistons, replaced one injector. The boiler has always had the correct dosage of boiler treatment, and has been blown down and washed out regularly, and inspected and tested annually. If required, a trailer can also be offered as part of the sale if required (at additional cost), and a number of spare parts can also be included by negotiation. The locomotive can be steamed by arrangement at Echills Wood Railway for interested parties.
