Hornby’Lord for Isles’ limited edition train set. The Locomotive and Tender and carriages are in excellent condition. The coal insert is missing from the tender. The Box has some marks as per photos. Please check the photos for any imperfections as these form part of the description.

LGB 2010 Stainz No. 1981 Special Edition from one of the anniversary sets. A nice clean and presentable loco, the odd small mark in places. There were 2x broken cab handles that have been carefully repaired with a drop of glue. This is an early version with lights, but no smoke or sound. Tested, and runs really well. I use the standard’collectable’ classification ratings as follows below; these are subjective to a certain extent and opinion may differ a small amount on exactly which bracket an item falls in. I do my best to describe items fairly although it is possible to miss small faults occasionally. The mention of one fault does not necessarily imply the absence of others. If I think an item is one the borderline of 2 categories I will mention as such. The photos also form part of the description so please make sure you study them closely, I provide between 5 and 10 photos of each item from all angles so you see exactly what you are purchasing. It is impractical to describe in written text every fault/mark; if you can see them in a photo then I won’t always include that in the text. MINT; perfect unmarked condition. (Could have been used but still no marks). NEAR MINT ; only minor marks, few in number, may well look perfect until you look very closely. EXCELLENT ; nice bright condition, but could have more noticeable marks or a little minor damage(say to one or two pieces of trim). GOOD ; fit for purpose on a layout; i. Runs and can be used, but could have lots of small marks and/or more damage. FAIR ; lots of damage, will need some work to bring up to standard. POOR; really only suited for spares or major repair. All items will be securely and safely packaged for transit; I use tissue paper, bubble wrap and stout card to ensure every item will reach you in the condition it leaves me. Please bear this is mind when comparing prices. Please check my feedback for the quality of items I sell, the accuracy of description and standard of packaging. I pride myself on only ever having completely satisfied customers. If you have a problem please don’t hesitate to get in touch before leaving feedback and I will resolve any problems for you. If an item has failed to arrive in the expected time please inform me as soon as possible so I can investigate, and or provide suitable advice on how to proceed. Budget options such as 2nd class and Hermes can sometimes take up to a week so sometimes a bit of patience is required with them. I generally sell very good used model trains and always test any locos before offering them for sale. However I can’t guarantee that once they have left me they will work perfectly forever. If an item has a problem a week or a month after the sale it is your responsibility. Used model trains do sometimes need a little repair or maintenance and that is your responsibility once a sale has been completed. Limited Edition Hornby’St Frusquin’ in experimental blue-purple. Comes in its original box with original certificate of authenticity. Runs well and looks very good other than the fact that it is missing its chimney topper. This is a standard Hornby A3 part so a spare could probably sourced from a donor loco if you have one. If not there are complete spare body shells available online for the St Frusquin loco.
