A difficult decision to sell my beloved Accucraft 7/8ths scale Bagnall which I bought in the hope – one day – of building and enjoying a garden railway. Reality has kicked in…. Or so my wife tells me! It is fully’as new’ and has never been steamed (or oiled). Probably a unique opportunity to by one totally unused; it needs to be enjoyed by someone, and I hope you do use it as intended! Accucraft Trains 7/8ths Scale Sandy River Forney #6, Live Steam

7/8ths Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes 0-4-4 Forney #6. The Portland Company constructed 0-4-4 Forney #5 in 1891 for the Sandy River Railroad. The locomotive was named N. Neal and operated this way until 1908 when the Sandy River, Franklin & Megantic, Philips & Rangeley, along with their respective subsidiary railroads merged to form the Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes. At this time the loco was renumbered to SR&RL #6. In December 1994, an agreement was reached with the estate for WW&F #9 and its return to Maine for eventual restoration. Over the course of several years the loco was restored and is now featured in regular excursion over a restored section of the railroad. 7/8ths Scale / 45 mm Gauge. Brass & Stainless Steel Construction. Ceramic Butane Burner (Requires draft fan to start firing). Full working Stephenson valve gear. 60 PSI working pressure. Hand operated water pump. ACCUCRAFT BAGNALL 7 x 12 Live Steam 0-4-0ST in 7/8ths Scale Garden Railway. In original box – including accessories. Bagnall were renowned builders of industrial locomotives for both standard gauge and narrow gauge. They developed a huge range of designs and built numerous engines for the big four and the MOD. Saddle tank was a mid-range narrow gauge design that could be. Supplied in a number of different formats. Several examples of the type have been preserved, one of the most famous being the Rev. Teddy Bostons Pixie which ran round his railway in the garden of Cadeby rectory! The model is gas fired and fitted with a water gauge with blow-down valve, miniature pressure gauge; constructed of stainless steel and etched brass, the loco has an enhanced level of detail made possible by this scale including a brake stand / gas control valve and water gauge. It is not gauge-adjustable and is only available in 45mm gauge. Scale: 22.5mm to 1 foot (1:13.7). Length: 320mm (over buffers). Minimum Radius: 760mm (2 feet 6 inches). Reversing Gear: Slide valves, simplified Walschaerts, reverse by lever in the cab. Boiler Fittings: Safety valve, miniature pressure gauge, water gauge with blow-down valve. Cab Controls: Steam regulator, gas regulator, reverse lever, displacement lubricator with under-floor drain. Minor damage to the original packaging (box) and a tiny bit of chipped paint on the rear buffer. Original manual not included – happy to include paper copy on request.
