Sunset Models Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 J Class made in Korea by Samhongsa and imported in 1983. Model is in excellent condition with very few finish flaws. Model has can motor and runs excellently. Nice details including backhead, opening cab vents, working retractable pilot coupler, etc. There are a few very small laquer stains. Original box and foam are in great shape, there is a nut driver tool in box. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam as needed, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. This will alert me to invoice you with an adjusted total. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes.
