Holmside Live Steam Locomotive 7.25 Gauge Scale Coal Fired 0-6-0T Tank Engine. All moving parts oiled and moving very freely. A well built 7 1/4 inch gauge model of a Holmside 0-6-0t saddle tank locomotive, built to the design by Martin Evans. The silver soldered copper boiler with cab fittings including regulator, water sight glass, steam pressure gauge, two injectors, mechanical lubricator, safety valve and other usual fittings. The chassis with twin outside cylinders with fitted drain cocks. Stephenson’s valve gear and fluted motion. The model finished in traditional black and red livery with fitted steps, handrails and couplings, brass framed porthole windows to cab and simulated coal panel to back with filler cap to water storage tank. Boiler History: Boiler built by Mr Geoff Tomlinson. Boiler Number N24 100 119. Southern Federation of Model Engineering Societies. Examination Certificate of Pressure system No C 154882 Working pressure 100 psi. Boiler certificate expired the 7th of July 2017. Also previous years tests. Boiler looks in great condition so should pass hydraulic test and steam test with no issues. Will require a check over before use. Most steam clubs will test and ticket the loco for free included in the price of your membership. All parts oiled and move freely, boiler looks in good condition and should pass hydraulic test and steam ticket without issues. Will be very sad to see this one go as Im a huge Disney railroad fan and wanted to repaint as a replica Disney loco. Wants a bit of a clean up and check over before use. Most steam clubs will test and ticket the engine for free included in your membership price. Live Steam 16mm SM32 G-scale Roundhouse Taliesin model steam locomotive R/C 45mm
It is SM32 scale and 45 mm gauge (fixed), and is radio controlled (2.4 GHz) on steam regulator and direction. It has had little use, runs well in forward and reverse and is in very good condition with no damage but does have minor water mark and oil stain blemishes commensurate with careful operation. Fuel is Butane or Iso-Butane gas. A smart charger is included for charging the re-chargeable batteries in the loco and the transmitter (when fitted with 8 x AA re-chargeables), and operating instructions are included for this finely engineed model. Information taken from Roundhouse website describes the model as follows. This is a model of an O-4-4T steam locomotive running on the Ffestiniog railway in North Wales that was built at Boston Lodge Works in 1999 being the third loco to carry this name. It has internal gas firing using the’FG’ type burner. Inside framed O-4-O power bogie with Roundhouse Internal Walschaerts valve gear. Water top-up system and water gauge. Controls fitted as standard are: steam regulator, safety valve, pressure gauge, displacement lubricator, gas regulator and reversing gear. Dimensions (loading gauge) are: Length 360mm over buffers, Width 110mm, Height 130mm, Weight 3.9Kg. Full radio control for both regulator and reversing gear using 2.4 GHz R/C. This model is 45mm wheel gauge. Minimum radius track 2’6”. Please study the photographs as they form part of the description.
