Up for sale is a. Max Gray Brass 4-6-4 NYC J3a Dreyfuss Hudson Steam Engine O-Scale 2-Rail – TESTED – w/BOX. RARE, used, in decent overall condition. Brass has tarnish in many places, but overall good shape for the age. There may be some missing details or imperfections. Nothing that stands out besides the tarnish. The engine has been tested, serviced, and runs. Lights do not appear to work. Brake shoes are not factory insulated and can short the wheels out if they are not perfectly centered between wheels. New owner might consider insulating the brake shoes at some point. Wheels show minor wear. Both engine and tender are well secured in factory original box. Box has some major wear and handwriting on it. Extra protective cushion may be added inside the foam insert to keep the item from shifting around.
