For those that are interested in railroad history, the history of the New Haven Railroad is one big soap opera, “a real train wreck” (poor choice of words) but the mark this railroad left on the New England states still fascinates a new generation of railfans and modelers which is why the Division Point still continues to produce New Haven models today though the railroad has been gone for almost 45 years. Offered here is the New Haven 0507, an Alco RS2 equipped with a steam generator and train control equipment. The locomotive is finished in bright orange and black and the scheme was considered the worst of the New Haven paint schemes. I thought the Alpert Administration paint scheme was a hell of a lot better than Penn Central brunswick green or 13D black but preference is a matter of taste. The locomotive you will receive is the one pictured and it will come in its original box and is ready to run. Though I unwrapped it for the photos you will be the first one to open the throttle.
