O SCALE RIVAROSSI V &T RENO KIT COMPLETE with MOTORIZING KIT NEW

For sale is a new complete kit of the Virginia and Truckee locomotive Reno in O scale as it appeared in the 1920’s. Also included is the motorizing kit to make this a powered model. These were made in Italy by Rivarossi. The kit is mostly plastic with metal detail parts. The motorizing kit has molded metal weights for added traction. With careful assembly and painting, this kit will make a very nice model of a popular locomotive. Some time ago, I got an assembled model of the Genoa; it is really nice and it runs quite well. But failed to notice that it is the modern version of the loco and not the earlier version that I wanted. The kit does not have the parts to allow for back dating and I don’t really need to add to the project queue, so it is time for it to find a new home. There is some packing in the box, but with all the small parts there will be some “rattle”.
