HO-scale brass SIERRA RAILWAY 18. 2-8-0 Baldwin 29790 steam locomotive and tender. Made in Japan and imported by North West Short Line , 1974. The loco features automatic drawbar, removable cab (as stated on the label – we have not tried it), pre-blackened frame, and sprung drivers. It is like new and appears to have only been test run. The engine was tested and ran well, but will need a good lube as it has likely been in storage for years. Please examine the photos as they are parts of the description. Big and brawny looking locomotive has working smoke and headlight. This locomotive runs as good as it looks. It has been modified by the previous owner so that it picks up power through the tender trucks instead of through the drivers. Overland Models Brass HO Scale Great Northern 4-6-0 E-15 Locomotive and Tender

Locomotive and tender are in great shape and show no wear. Unit was tested and runs well in both directions, could probably use a re-lubrication due to age on shelf. Boiler weight is in box and has not been installed, couplers also have not been installed. Includes a set of Champ decals. Box has crease on top but is otherwise in great shape; foam is in great shape. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows as needed. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. Loose cars will be wrapped in tissue paper, then bubble wrap.
