PFM Crown Brass HO Scale- Chesapeake and Ohio Class H-8 Steam Locomotive 2-6-6-6 , New Old Stock. This is a very special Locomotive bought new in’82 Lot’s of detailed pieces. Please look at the photo’s, very impressive. Original Box and Packing, Foam in good shape. These are not toys and most are over 40 years old. Please note that I do not have the ability or inclination to test each and every one of these units. My dad never owned a piece of track and did not get to realize his Great Northern railroad in his retirement so, good or bad, these locomotives are as he bought them all those years ago. Having said that, there may be issues that are well known in the community with deteriorating plastic parts or known mechanical or quality control issues with manufacturers over the years that are well documented on the internet. This is a wonderful hobby and I’ve met many fabulous people so I certainly don’t want any unhappy customers. Silver soldered Boiler Meths Fired The loco measures 625 mm long (24). Single Cylinder, slip eccentric valve gear. Mechanical water pump with by-pass valve. Displacement lubricator between frames in cab. Hand pump fitted in tender. Pressure gauge, regulator and blower in cab Sprung buffers, scale coupling to front of loco and a sprung 3 link one to the rear of the tender. Track included in sale. Been on display for a while so, will need lubricating. No tight spots when moved forward or back. Cash on collection preferred. Quite heavy but, will post at cost fully insured and individually wrapped for damage protection.
