Up for sale is a one of a kind. MTH Premier Golden Spike. 4-4-0 CPRR Jupiter #60 and UPRR Rogers #119 General Steam Engine Set w/PS2 O-Scale 2-Rail NOS. This year – May 10th, 2019 – will mark the 150th Anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad with the Golden Spike ceremony. What better way to celebrate than to hold this beautifully detailed scale replica set featuring both locomotives. YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS OUT!! Both engines are New Old Stock and have been test run only. Both pieces are O Scale 2-Rail, NOT 3-Rail!! Proto-Sound 2.0 (3v) , Scale proportions and detail, Scale metal wheels and trucks. Engines have been fully tested, and work perfectly. Engines are compatible with AC or DC current in DCS or Conventional modes. These DO NOT have DCC. Wheels may show very light wear from being test run. Both have fresh batteries and may need to be charged prior to first run. Box shows shelf wear. Includes optional 3-Rail Rollers and optional O Gauge Proto-Coupler. Scale knuckle couplers NOT included. Extra protective cushion may be added inside the foam insert to keep the item from shifting around. These locomotives have been inspected and approved by an MTH Authorized Service Center Technician. MTH RailKing Union Pacific. 4-4-0 General Steam Engine and Tender. This General appears new to me. I programmed it into my remote and did a quick spin and it worked great, but the sounds were a little garbled. The system information states this engine has 0.7 scale miles on the odometer (I can supply a picture if interested) and the battery is low. His is common for these older MTH engines when the battery levels are not maintained. As with every MTH engine, the battery needs to be fully charged for the engine to perform at it’s best. This is an awesome looking set and my favorite engine type. Some Features of this Item. Precision Flywheel Equipped Motor. All Metal Wheels, Gears and Chassis. Operates on O-31 Curves. (see picture of box end for full feature list). Manual Included in Box. The box has some shelf wear and looks nice. Let me know if you have any questions.
