There is a DCC chip installed in the tender. The connection within the tender is loose and needs to be fixed better to enable the locomotive wire pins to mount into the tender properly. You may have to take the top of the tender off to re set the connection or you can hook it from the outside with a pick tool to enable the pins to locate. Comes in a shelf warn box with foam packing.
