American Flyer Pre-War O Scale #1681 Hudson Locomotive only, Runs, OB, and the headlight works. The engine runs in both forward and reverse but the reverse unit is noisy. The condition of the zinc castings, boiler, cab, boiler front, pilot, steam chest, etc. Look fine, and show no metal fatigue. The drive wheels do not show any metal fatigue. Small zinc casted wheels have fatigue, chips, etc. -see photos– The original box is in good condition but dirty. It has only 1 number stamped on the box which may have reflected a set number.
