In superb as new condition Marklin z 81331 “75 Years of the Rheingold” Train Set. The set is listed as used but it has only been run to test everything and has been in storage. One Time Only limited edition set 2003/04. German State Railroad Company (DRG) class 18.4 Steam Locomotive & Tender, 1 type SB 4u 28 Salon Car 2nd class, 1 type SB 4u K28 Salon Car 2nd class with galley, 1 type SA 4u 28 Salon Car 1st class, 1 type SA 4u K28 Salon Car 1st class with galley, 1 type SPw 4u 28 Baggage Car. Locomotive has a 5 pole motor, all driving axles powered. The set comes in a stunning lithographed sheet metal presentation case, the embossed “Rheingold” lettering and colour scheme for the case was inspired by the prototype. The set also includes a replica of an original legendary “Rheingold” train destination sign. The loco is running very smoothly and the set is in superb condition, a very impressive z train set.
