RARE OLDER General Models Corporation O scale brass two rail 2-6-6-4 Allegheny steam locomotive. Locomotive has partially green and silver boiler with the remaining black. Locomotive is in C5 condition with one partially detached set of drivers which needs one screw to repair. One of the compressors on the front will need to be straightened. The tender frame is an A&S casting. Also included is the original instruction booklet for the model. And it has its original carrying case. HO scale NJCB VIrginian 2-10-10-2 Nice Rare! Super train shows little signs of use. Foam was gone so I cut my own high density foam that works well. Test runs well on my straight track (see videos below). Couldn’t do turns as I have 18 radius. Rare G Scale Live Steam Tank Locomotive Collins Pixie. Loco is a Collins Pixie. Many makers have now gone out of production. The loco is vintage design. And build qualities and this Pixie considered to be an 80s version. The Loco is of heavy robust Metal chassis and wheels Construction. Metal dummy tanks and cab. It comes with a Copper boiler. With original brass fittings (unusual to find in G scale) and the first one I have. Another unusual feature is to be found on the underside of the loco. As can be viewed in picture (9), unusually each of the wheels is adjustable. Allowing her to be used on different gauge track. The Copper boiler was originally black, though chose to keep the Copper. For its scarcity and display purposes. Fitted with original pressure valve and. Brass fitted controls in the cab which all move easily and freely. The motion work is smooth and the wheels turn freely. This has been a’Covid Workshop restoration project. The loco has been. Completely stripped, cleaned, etch primed and painted using tradition loco. Originally black I have chosen a more presentable deep bronze. Green, panther black Smoke box, chimney and Cab floor. Inner Cab has been sympathetically upgraded to Ivory Cream. The Loco is larger than most (Mamod types) I have seen, wider and heavier. Dimensions Weight approx. 2kg, Width 10.5cm, Length – 27cm. G scale Lima No. 104 Live Steam Locomotive rare item with no reserve. 104 butane fires live steam engine. All is ok working condition and the engine picks up a good amount of speed for the size. This engine also comes with full working reverse, so not just the reverse in the pistons but actual crank webbing reverse gear. The engine is well oiled and functions lovely. Manual speed control is in the cab and pressure gauge as well. The track in the picture is not included in the price but if you would like it let me know. This info was provided from a fellow Ebayer. What you have listed is a model of a Baldwin locomotive that would have been built from a machinist kit produced by Argyle Locomotives in Australia. These were supplied as a kit of parts that required machining and silver soldering skills. They were also supplied as full built models in 45mm gauge of 32mm gauge with full Stevenson’s valve gear, as this one has, or simple slip eccentric. I supplied the artwork to Argyle Locomotives for the laser cutting and photo etching. I have a 32mm gauge example with full Stevenson’s valve gear and radio control. Since this item is being listed as used, it will show signs of wear which to the best of my knowledge have been shown in the pictures. Feel free to send me any questions or comments.
