Produced as a fine-scale model based on a prototype of the D51 498 belonging to the Takasaki Rolling Stock Center around 2008. Produced the standard specifications of the D 498: standard differential, snow prow, black license plate, and headlight (no glare cut). The headmark is set with the attached parts, and can be selected as “SL Minakami” or SL Okutone. The dynamic running gear of a steam locomotive is faithfully reproduced in both appearance and running by means of a solid underframe, wheels and wheels with a realistic black finish, and detailed and sturdy rods. The overall balance, such as the narrow distance between the engine and the tender and the difference in height, is taken into consideration, and the proportions of the D51 are respected. The driver’s cabin is miniaturized so that a driver’s doll can be mounted, and the back plate and driver’s seat are also reproduced. As in the real car, the gap between the boiler and the underframe and the core of the box driving wheel with holes are reproduced. The details such as the cylinder butt bar, the cab underframe, and the mesh pattern of the ramboard are reproduced realistically. The power with the flywheel can collect electricity not only from the engine but also from all axes of the tenders, providing stable running. Number plate of Unit 498 has been installed. Scale: 1/150 9 mm (N gauge). Product form: Painted finished product. Motor: Yes (Powered with flywheel). We accept return items up to 60 days after the item has arrived.
