Here we have a old 1 6mm scale Salem Locomotive Works “River” class 0-4-0 tank locomotive. It is a twin cylinder oscillator , reverser at the front in smiliar style to Mamod. The boiler is externally gas fired, fitted with pressure gauge, safety valve and water filler valve. Isplacement lubricator fitted, inside cab. Has the original Salem worksplates on smokebox base. The condition of the loco is excellent, previous owner carefully restored the loco, complete repaint and refurbishment. It is gauge convertible currently set for 45mm but easily re gaugeable.
