The model is in average condition with spotting and wear/tarnish on the locomotive and auxiliary tender. The model was lightly oiled when tested with typical gear noise for the model. There was stalling on the cheap switches on my test track and the wheels are dirty. There is a flat brass rectangular piece that is missing between the cab and rear oil tank. There were some miscellaneous soldering repairs made to the model including soldering the cab to the cab floor. The box and foam are in average condition with some tape repair to the bottom of the lower box. Please view the photos to determine the condition. Please view my other auctions/listing. 16mm Scale 32mm Gauge Live Steam Tram Locomotive “Donkey” (once called Cromwell). This locomotive was originally built by Colin Edwards and dates from the early 1990’s. A lovely heritage locomotive full of charm. Its powered by single cylinder oscillator geared down and chain driven back axle. Does go in either forward and reverse operated by lever in cab. Boiler is gas fired, fitted with safety valve and regulator. Displacement lubricator fitted also. The loco is just under 13 inches long from the front cowcatcher to the rear buffer. The loco does work, although it could do with a service and a bit of a clean up. A nice little winter project.
