Here for sale is a brand new, Mamod gas-fired 32mm fixed wheel gauge WILLIAM Locomotive in unfired condition. Originally supplied new by Forrest Classics, this loco has remained in pristine’as supplied’ condition and has been stored in it’s original packaging at all times since new. The box and polystyrene are all in excellent condition with limited signs of wear. The box contains the loco, the filler funnel and Mamod steam oil along with instruction/information leaflets exactly as supplied when new. This is a Legendary Lionel 763E Semi-Scale Hudson Steam Locomotive with Tender from 1937-42. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good. This unit has been cleaned and lubricated. The motor armature and E unit drum have been cleaned. This item has been re-wired at various points. The engine runs well. The whistle on the tender works. There are several rust spots on the frame of the locomotive. The tender shell is spidercracking and shattered. There is glue residue on the shell of the tender, as well. The original box is not included. Overall condition is Good. Lionel 763E Vintage O Lionel Lines Semi-Scale Hudson Steam Locomotive & Tender. This is the Semi-Scale Version of the famous 700E Scale Hudson. It differs from the 700e in having wheel flanges which work on regular Lionel tubular track, fewer piping and accessory details on the engine, and a smaller tender. Despite the reduction in attachments from the 700E, the engine features an enormous amount of detail. The tender has a whistle, and the locomotive has the 3-position e-unit. It will only run on curves 72 inch diameter or larger. The 763 ranks just behind the 700E on many collector’s wish lists. This is a great chance to own one of the most legendary model railroad locomotives ever produced. Signs of play wear, scratches, minor paint loss. Small dents, minor rust. Evidence of heavy use.
