For sale is a 1959 A. Gilbert The american flyer HO Gauge train set. Part number is 35099. The box is in ok condition. The two passenger cars are in very nice shape with no broken pieces. The color is good as well. The Locomotive is HO Gauge and is controlled with a shaft that connects to the back of the locomotive and attaches to the front of the coal car(Where the electric motor is located). Here are the issues. The passenger cars are perfect. The coal car(motor storage) is missing the black coal cover/some paint is coming off. The motor has been tested and does work. The locomotive gears and wheels turn. There is a piece missing on the front of the train. As you can see, the hand rail is attached on the LEFT side but missing on the RIGHT side. I do not know how to clean old trains so i would suggest it be taken apart and cleaned before use. The parts are small and delicate. I will pack the item well.
