LGB G Scale 2071D 2-6-2T Tank Steam Locomotive, DCC Fitted
From a lovely collection of G Scales, the models have been run and are in excellent/near mint condition, having been stored inside when not in use. This loco is from a single owner collection of mostly LGB items. Where not fitted in the factory with the MTS (digital) system, this has been professionally fitted by Gaugemaster. The original owner ran these models using the LGB handheld controller with the ref code 55016. We have tested all models and where fitted with sound, this has been stated. Want to enlarge and zoom in on the pictures? Excellent/Near mint – the model has been lightly/moderately run and conscientiously cared for. Excellent/smooth runner – working lights – however one of the front lights currently doesn’t seem to be working. Excellent – some shelf wear, mainly scuffs to box edges. Up for sale is a. 3rd Rail Brass GN/Great Northern 2-8-2 O8 Steam Engine O-Scale 2-Rail USED. Hard piece to find. Body is overall very good condition. It appears all details are intact. Incredibly well detailed brass piece. Slight bend in the front cowcatcher section (See photo). One nasty blemish on the side of the tender (may be fixable). The front cowcatcher had to be soldered back on. The engine has been tested and works. This is 2-Rail DC powered only. There is NO SMOKE UNIT. Wheels & Rollers show minor wear. Box was heavily damaged and repaired. There is some additional incomplete paperwork and pictures added in the box by the previous owner. Extra protective cushion may be added inside the foam insert to keep the item from shifting around. Please look at the pictures to see exactly what you will receive. The Western Maryland, primarily a coal-hauling railroad during its heyday, derived 50% of its revenue from the transportation of bituminous coal. In fact, the 21 mile route was filled with 1.75 percent grades and sharp 8 degree curves. Known as the 1200 Series, a total of 12 locomotives were built, each sporting a 22,000 gallon tender that held 30 tons of coal. The Locomotive and Tender are 31.5 inches long. Please note this Requires 072 Minimum Diameter. This is a Very Famous Pennsy Built Model that Made Pennsylvania Railroad known for their Custom Innovative designs to gain business and Popularity. This Engine came out in 2000 as part of the Premium Scale TMCC Steam Locomotives that Lionel released, which were Built in Limited Quantity.
