Beautiful Overland Models Reading Class I-8sb 2-8-0 made in Korea by MS Models and imported in 1988. Model is in excellent condition, has been run, and shows light wheel wear. Excellent details with full in cab detail. I would note that the cylinder fronts and boiler front castings are a darker brass alloy. Original box and foam are in excellent condition, and includes spare parts and tool. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows as needed. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. Loose cars will be wrapped in tissue paper, then bubble wrap. Nice details including backhead, opening cab vents, working retractable pilot coupler, etc. There are a few very small laquer stains. Original box and foam are in great shape, there is a nut driver tool in box. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam as needed, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows. HO Scale Brass Sunset Models PRR 2-8-0 Class H-8 Steam Engine Unpainted EC. This is a beautifully preserved model in excellent aesthetic condition. He collected them for over 50 years, but never had a train setup actually running, so these have just been in their respective boxes in large plastic bins in a storage unit for at least two or three decades, possibly 50 years, depending on when each was collected. Occasionally he would take them out and he would tell me (as a child) about them. So I say all that to say he has passed away and to my knowledge, he never ran them. Feel free to ask me any questions I can answer, or for additional photos. However, my father didn’t seem to have any tracks or power hubs thus far in my storage digging, so I cannot test anything.
