Overland Models Brass HO Scale Great Northern 4-6-0 E-15 Locomotive and Tender

Locomotive and tender are in great shape and show no wear. Unit was tested and runs well in both directions, could probably use a re-lubrication due to age on shelf. Boiler weight is in box and has not been installed, couplers also have not been installed. Includes a set of Champ decals. Box has crease on top but is otherwise in great shape; foam is in great shape. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows as needed. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. Loose cars will be wrapped in tissue paper, then bubble wrap. Product number OMI 1475 HO Scale CNJ class M2as 2-8-2 mikado without the Elesco feed water heater with class V coal tender. This locomotive was professionally painted and nicely weathered. Test run and runs very well. Look closely at the photos to see the weathering detail. This locomotive was leased to the Ontario & Western for a period of time in the late 1940s. Sunset Models 2r O Scale 2-10-0 Russian Decapod. Western Maryland. Boxed

On offer is a Sunset Models 2 rail O Scale 2-10-0. Please note the following.. In general everything is square and tight. The air cylinder casting has come adrift, included. At some point someone has re attached it as there is evidence of an adhesive at the mounting point. It really needs to be resoldered in place.. A run on my test bench shows the locomotive runs smooth. Current draw around 0.5A, which dropped with a few minutes of running. The cab fall plate has broken away from the model. One of the cab window sunshades has broken away from the cab, both parts present and included. The front left running board is loose, but attached. The steam turret is loose, but remains attached. The 2 steps at the pilot are bent from transit damage (likely). These could be bent straight, but with extreme care. I have no idea of date of production for this piece maybe the mid 1980’s at best?
