Up for sale is a. Central Locomotive Works H-10 2-8-0 BRASS Steam Engine O-Scale 2-Rail AS-IS. Includes 1 of 2 boxes. THE GOOD NEWS: motors turn and wheels rotate when power is hooked up directly to the motor. THE BAD NEWS: The engine shorts out when placed on track, seems like at least one of the wheels was installed the wrong way (insulated side put in wrong side). There is no draw bar. The motor is not wired. No wiring has been done at all. The whistle is not seated into the boiler and falls out. Please look at the pictures to see exactly what you will receive. Lionel O Scale Baltimore & Ohio #7600 EM-1 Steam Locomotive #2031100. Well, I must say, they have everything! Such were the remarks of B&O’s President White upon inspecting the first EM-1. Despite a preference for diesels, the B&O was allocated the new steam locomotives by the Wartime Production Board. They would be the last and largest steam locomotives delivered to the B&O and many argued they were among the best. Equipped with all of the most advanced features available for the time, the powerful locomotives were designed to make use of every inch of space allotted by the B&O’s tight clearance restrictions. Smaller than their older 2-8-8-4 Yellowstone cousins in the west due to tight tunnel and bridge clearances, the EM-1 was no less impressive. Crews respected them for their power, efficiency and especially smooth ride. Ultimately, their reign on the mountains would be brief – snuffed out by the diesels the B&O always wanted. Like the prototype, these Lionel models have everything you could want! Equipped with both LEGACY and Bluetooth, they are easy to control from your LEGACY or TMCC cab, Universal Remote, LionChief App or transformer. Chesapeake & Ohio 2-8-2 Mikado class K-3 with Vanderbilt tender made in Japan by United and imported in 1978. Model has very nice detail, backhead, cab deck plate, etc. Shows negligible wheel wear, most likely testing. Can motor is nice and quiet, model runs very nicely. Original box in great condition with minor scuff on from lower right. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam as needed, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! A couple of notes. This will alert me to invoice you with an adjusted total. I take packing seriously! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes.
