LGB 2085D 0-6-6-0 Mallet Steam Locomotive G Scale. This locomotive is modified as shown in the photos, a cow catcher was added. This big boy runs great but hasn’t been run for more than 5 minutes in the past 5 years or so. I would recommend a tune up just to keep it in tip top shape. Not that it’s not. Yes the price is really low but there are a few scratches on the left rear corner (see photos) not that you can really see them but if you look with a magnifying glass you can see them pretty easily. The model was built in the mid90s by Samhongsa. Andis one of the last commissioned by Bobbye Hall. I did not includemany pictures because those that know this series of models know that they areperhaps the finest production pieces available and that detail photos would notdo it justice. The factory paint andlettering are outstanding. The level ofdetail, including a fully detailed cab, on this model is truly incredible. The model has never been unwrapped, thusnever test run. Others indicate thatmodels from this run are outstanding runners complete with a coastingdrive. It is a DC model with fulllighting.
