Features include powerful can motor with bell-shaped armature in the locomotive’s boiler, 2 axles powered, 2 traction tires, detailed running gear with an external frame and Stephenson valve gear, and the headlights will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. It is also equipped with steam locomotive operating sounds that vary with the speed of the locomotive, a whistle sound, and other operating sounds as well as the acceleration and braking delay which can all be controlled digitally with DCC. Additional features include close coupling between the locomotive and tender, brake hoses and prototypical couplers can be installed on the buffer beam, and the length over the buffers is: 6-7/16.
