This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. This brass engine showcases exquisite detail! Lubricated the motor, axles, and two driver gear internals. Changed the coupling between two sets of drivers. Resistance soldered steps on the front pilot. Bench test good, though the gear train is a little noisy. There is tarnish on the tender. Even though there are some imperfections, this brass locomotive will make an impressive addition to any collection! The original box is included with a home-made foam liner. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. The shell has been removed. Cleaned and dried the oil on the front drive wheel axles. Lubricated the wheels, gearbox internals, and motor (can). The shaft coupling has been changed between the gearbox and motor. The boiler weight is in the box. There are a few faint nicks. Even though there are a couple of minor imperfections, this brass locomotive will make an impressive addition to any collection! The original box is included with the liner, which is in great shape. 4-4-2 Steam Engine and Tender. I love the looks of this set. Set was tested and it worked nice. This unit is factory painted and comes with a model specifics pamphlet. The pamphlet highlights the history of the actual engine as well as the specifics of this model. Specifics of this set. This set is 10 1/4 inches. Weight is 16 ounces. Motor is a 19mm can motor. 900 units were imported in May 1976. The box has the red foam that has discolored so many brass trains. This set has been protected in plastic.
