This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This brass engine showcases exquisite detail! Repaired the damaged cab roof and re-soldered the trim piece to the roof. Paint touch-up at an amateur level. This locomotive is “very” heavy. A coal load was added to the tender and has since been removed. There is some lightly chipped paint. Even though there are minor imperfections, this brass locomotive and tender will make a strong addition to any collection. The original box is included. Nice condition with box. Only made one year, one run, 1987 by Dong Jin. The only modern brass S scale UP Challenger made! Small detail parts were snagged by the foam over the years & came off the model as the photos show. They’ll be included in a parts bag. Other than that the overall condition is nice. There are a couple areas of minor tarnish as well. Also there is a small dent on the boiler as the picture shows. I didnt test it but the model has lived its whole life in the box and original foam its very nice condition save for the minor condition issues it has. I dont think any parts are missing. Just the previous owner had it in the foam without using the plastic and the sticky out parts of the model got snagged on the foam. When taking the model in and out of the foam over the decades. Im thinking it will run just fine based on the condition. If you look at the pictures of the bottom of the engine and tender they look like maybe never ran. Might just need woken up and a touch of oil. The top foam pieces are included, just not shown in pictures. Some blemishes here and there (most notably on engine and tender sides). Incredibly well detailed brass piece. Features: TMCC, Railsounds w/4 chuffs synced per revolution, Fan driven smoke, Directional Lighting. You must start up engine using ENG + 1 + WHISTLE (or other non-AUX1 key) in order for sound to come on with engine. This is a factory design. The engine has been tested and works. This is 3-Rail, not 2-Rail. Wheels & Rollers show minor wear. Box was heavily damaged and repaired. There is some additional incomplete paperwork and pictures added in the box by the previous owner. Up for sale is a. Williams CE 7002 (Sam) Brass AC-12 SP Cab Forward Steam Engine O-Scale w/QSI QS-2 Sound 3-Rail. Very Good, USED, condition – nicely done piece by Samhongsa in Korea for Williams. Overall looks decent, but has some obvious blemishes. THIS IS THE 3-RAIL VERSION WITH CENTER ROLLER WHEELS. The engine has been tested, serviced, and works as it should. One of two Seuthe smoke units does not seem to work. We only had success with one of them. Features: Upgraded to QSI QS-2 Sound System (Similar to Proto-Sound 1.0). Chuff sound works perfect in forward, but seems to only work intermittently at low speeds and not at all at high speed while in reverse. A new battery has been installed. Wheels show minor wear. Tires may need to be replaced. Both engine and tender are well secured in factory original box. Box has some shelf wear and damage. Extra protective cushion may be added inside the foam insert to keep the item from shifting around. Please look at the pictures to see exactly what you will receive.
