It does run well at slow speeds, but since it has not been broken in over the years it will likely need servicing prior to long term operating if that is the goal. MTH G Scale Challenger Steam Locomotive in very good used condition. This fine loco belonged to my late uncle and has been stored for quite some time in a dry and warm environment. It’s an all singing all dancing locomotive with double chimney, smoke generator, and sounds beautiful when running. As I don’t model in G Scale I’ve decided to find a new home for it. As I don’t have any track to test the loco on properly I put power to the wheels and it ran absolutely fine. Thank you for looking and good luck.
