The model reproduces the type LP405 sub-light (not illuminated) attached to the side of the front light, the smoke collector mounting seat, and the cab nameplate. The tender is reproduced in its current appearance, including the partitions, coal tanks, and fuel oil tanks, as well as the piping and steam pipes on the gable end. Spoke wheels are used for the leading and trailing wheels. Power with flywheel is collected not only from the engine but also from the tender wheels for stable running. The gap between the boiler and the base frame as well as the wheel center of the box driving wheel with a hole are represented as on the actual car. Realistic details such as the cylinder butt bar guide, under cab undercarriage, and mesh pattern on the runboard are also reproduced. Head marks “SL Gunma Minakami” and “SL Gunma Yokokawa” are included. The model train is powered by the rails. Batteries are not used for running, glowing, or lighting.
