Accucraft Live Steam Locomotive -Wrekin-G gauge-16mm Scale-SM32-Garden railway. I’ve finally decided to part with my Accucraft Wrekin in order to fund a new loco. I’ve also fitted new piston rings to the cylinders and have had the safety valve serviced by David Mees. The cab fittings have also been painted black to tone them down. The engine has also been blinged up with a djb safety valve bonnet and various detailing castings like sandboxes/airpump. Please note the engines sight glass is currently blocked for some reason and needs some kettle descaler to clear it. The engine comes with its gas and boiler certificates and all the RC gear apart from a transmitter I use the same transmitter across my different engines. The engine is fitted with a flysky receiver. This engine is a lovely runner and will happily run along with a nice long train of coaches. Please note that the name plates will be removed prior to sale and additional footage of the engine running is available on request. NJ Custom Brass Pennsylvania Railroad Class C-1 0-8-0 made in Korea by KSM and imported in 1978. Model is in good condition with very little tarnish. Previous owner engraved collection number onto bottom of unit and a Japanese? Character that matches one inside box. Unit has can motor and runs well, eccentric cranks have been repaired and are solid, they are not soldered which will make future work easier. Rear tender step casting has been soldered, is solid, laquer on step has some discoloration due to heat. Spare hardware bag included. Original box has been taped on one corner. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam as needed, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don’t receive a box of “parts”. I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! Locomotive has been custom painted and looks good. Paint is in good condition with a few very small chips. Model runs well, I would rate the running noise at 6 with 1 being quietest, and 10 being loudest. Wheels show light wear, plating looks good. Lionel O Scale Baltimore & Ohio #7600 EM-1 Steam Locomotive #2031100. Well, I must say, they have everything! Such were the remarks of B&O’s President White upon inspecting the first EM-1. Despite a preference for diesels, the B&O was allocated the new steam locomotives by the Wartime Production Board. They would be the last and largest steam locomotives delivered to the B&O and many argued they were among the best. Equipped with all of the most advanced features available for the time, the powerful locomotives were designed to make use of every inch of space allotted by the B&O’s tight clearance restrictions. Smaller than their older 2-8-8-4 Yellowstone cousins in the west due to tight tunnel and bridge clearances, the EM-1 was no less impressive. Crews respected them for their power, efficiency and especially smooth ride. Ultimately, their reign on the mountains would be brief – snuffed out by the diesels the B&O always wanted. Like the prototype, these Lionel models have everything you could want! Equipped with both LEGACY and Bluetooth, they are easy to control from your LEGACY or TMCC cab, Universal Remote, LionChief App or transformer. Dual speakers make great use of LEGACY RailSounds and the model is equipped with stack and whistle steam effects. Control switches are all conveniently located under the sand dome.
