The shell has been removed and the gear box and drier assembly have been stripped to remove dried and hardened grease. Bench test good; runs smooth and quietly. Sunset Models 2r O Scale 2-10-0 Russian Decapod. Western Maryland. Boxed

On offer is a Sunset Models 2 rail O Scale 2-10-0. Please note the following.. In general everything is square and tight. The air cylinder casting has come adrift, included. At some point someone has re attached it as there is evidence of an adhesive at the mounting point. It really needs to be resoldered in place.. A run on my test bench shows the locomotive runs smooth. Current draw around 0.5A, which dropped with a few minutes of running. The cab fall plate has broken away from the model. One of the cab window sunshades has broken away from the cab, both parts present and included. The front left running board is loose, but attached. The steam turret is loose, but remains attached. The 2 steps at the pilot are bent from transit damage (likely). These could be bent straight, but with extreme care. I have no idea of date of production for this piece maybe the mid 1980’s at best? Walthers “The Great Circus Train” Brass locomotive and tender made by Sunset Models in Korea. Unit is factory painted and looks good, there is one blemish on one side of boiler. Bench tested and runs well in both directions, unit runs pretty quiet. Wheels show light wear, includes original box in excellent condition with foam and boiler weight (wrapped in box).
