Rare and unusual “Steamlines” / American Locomotive Company live steam locomotive in 45mm Gauge (G Gauge). Chassis is CNC machined from a single piece of Aluminum, a strong and sturdy loco! The loco is piston valve (brass cylinders), the brake handle at the back is in fact the regulator / reverser. Its fitted with a dead leg lubricator situated in the left had side tank. Boiler fitted with two safety valves, pressure gauge. The wooden cab is easily removeable, I have recently revarnished this. The scale of this is slightly larger than 16mm, and could almost pass as being 7/8ths. Designed by Tom / Chris Cooper, dating from the early 1990’s. There was three different engines in this range, a Barclay called Aileen / Little Giant, a French one called Kidd and this an American outline one which was a “Dixie”.
