HO Scale Van Hobbies Brass CNR U1f Class 4-8-2 Mountain Canadian National #6061 w/Coasting Drive. This locomotive is from the second production run (1993 I believe) commissioned by Van Hobbies and built by Samhongsa in South Korea and is in excellent shape. Has been strictly a display piece by the current owner. Was track tested in our shop and runs well. No headlight or tender backup light. It does run well at slow speeds, but since it has not been broken in over the years it will likely need servicing prior to long term operating if that is the goal. Model has no window glazing but has a dummy coupler on the loco. Original purchaser’s receipt dated Feb 13. We will answer to the best of our ability. International Buyers Please Note. 1930’s Brass O Scale Sale Craft 4-6-4 Hudson Locomotive & Tender. Manufactured in Chicago in the 1930’s, this is a great example of early scale o gauge trains. It is set up for outside 3rd rail operation. There is a wire unhooked from the bottom so I know it will not run and I could not test it. The engine is actually cast bronze. The bell is missing and one marker light is missing from the boiler front. The motor looks complete and the die cast tender also looks complete. The locomotive measures 14″ long and the tender measures 10″ long. Very heavy and very detailed. (Please see all photos). This listing is for a Key Imports N-Scale BRASS 2-8-2 H-10a New York Central. Engine is undecorated, brass finish does have some tarnish but not an issue if you intend to paint. Has been sitting in it’s box for years, the engine was tested and at first was a little stiff, I applied a small drop of lubricant to each of the metal gears and tested again. The engine started to run much better, the older brass engines which have metal gears do need some break-in time, usually fifteen to twenty minutes in each direction at a medium speed usually results a good running engine. Engine appears to be in excellent condition, looks like very little run time on the wheels. Comes in original box which does have minor self wear and includes parts pack. Up for your consideration is Pecos River Brass Santa Fe brass 4-6-2 Pacific 3400 series steam locomotive number 3425. It’s in fantastic condition, with original box and literature. DC operation, but can be converted. Unlike most brass, it runs very well. If memory serves, it has had some tungston added to the boiler for additional weight to assist in pulling power.
