Model Number: 4-8-2 MT-3. This is a Southern Pacific Railroad 4-8-2 MT-3 Mountain steam engine imported in 1962 by Max Gray Models and produced by KTM. The engine is in fairly good shape for its age, the engine has an open frame motor and performs rather sluggish on the test track, however with some lubrication it should loosen up. The original box and packing material is still with the model and looks to be in fair shape. If you have questions please ask. This spectacular factory-painted brass HO-scale Northern Pacific A-4 locomotive was b uilt by Boo-Rim and imported by Precision Scale Co. In 2009 (PSC 18122-1). Both the box and the loco are marked as No. 4 of a run of only 13 such “as delivered” models. It’s virtually brand new, as are the box and foam. To assure this locomotive functions as it should, I had it serviced prior to this listing. It runs smoothly and quietly in both directions and its directional headlight and tender light both work properly. Please check my other listings for more hard-to-find brass trains.
