HO Scale Brass Westside Model Co WMC UP Union Pacific 4-10-2

In 1971 built by Katsumi. The connector between the gearbox and the motor was replaced. The gear box was cleaned and new LaBelle 106 Plastic Safe Grease was added to the gearbox. The locomotive has been tested on my test track and ran well with some gearbox noise. The locomotive is non-DCC. The locomotive has an open frame. The box id in good condition. There is no foam but I will pack well with bubble wrap and other packing material so the locomotive is well protected inside the WMC box. The locomotive weight was not installed but included. There is a parts bag included with screws and a parts bag included with coupler pockets. There is some tarnish on the brass. Please view my other auctions/listing. I will be listing 100’s of HO scale train cars and locomotives in the coming months from various manufacturers which have been stored in a climate controlled environment for the past 5 years. This listing is for a New In The Box Sunset 3rd Rail, all brass, Pennsylvania RR locomotive and tender. The set is new in the box. As you can see, I chose to leave the internal packaging as it came from the factory. The gallery photo was copied from the Internet. This is a very rare item with only 190 made in the late 1990’s. 3rd Rail 6443 Pennsylvania J1 2-10-4 brass Steam Locomotive and Tender features smoke, sounds, a large motor, and a terrific amount of detail. Brass & Stainless Accucraft AC78-131 RGS #7 Galloping Goose Classic G scale

It is a 2-part loco. I have the 2 original boxes in EX condition with the protective Styrofoam cases and protective paper & plastic wrappings. No instructions; but, I dont think it ever had any. Operation is pretty straight forward. Pittman 0-24v DC motor. Brass & stainless steel construction. Superbly detailed and articulated model. Quality paint and lettering. Radius = 4 ft. Measures 27 x 4 ½ x 6 ¼. I tested the loco on a 10 section of track and it ran well in F & R. Directional lighting works fine. The loco is dusty with a couple of dirt smudges. Wheels show a little rail time. The black paint trim shows some light wear/scratches (see pictures). No apparent cracks, breaks, corrosion, or missing parts. Because of the size of this package 12-13 lbs. Please be specific about what you want to see.
