Original box, PFM-branded plastic sleeves, and instruction sheet. Original packing foam is in excellent condition, still soft with no rot. Has some tarnish due to age. Runs smoothly in forward and reverse, although is slightly louder forwards. Gearbox is freshly lubricated and the flexible drive coupling has been replaced with silicon tubing since the original rubber coupling had dried and cracked. Smokebox front is unsoldered so that the headlights can be illuminated if desired. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This brass engine and tender are exquisite! Inspected the electrical connections and re-soldered as needed. Repaired the smoke heating element. Bench test was good and the engine runs well! There is some lightly chipped paint. There is a missing railing trim piece from the locomotive. One of the window inserts is loose. There are a couple of minor nicks. Even though there are imperfections, this brass locomotive is impressive and will make a strong addition to any collection! This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This brass locomotive showcases exquisite detail! The shell has been removed. Removed the dried grease from the gears and the drive rods. Resistance soldered the piston iron to cross the head. The locomotive has been lubricated. Cleaned the tender frame/truck contacts. Bench and layout tested good. There is tarnish on the locomotive and tender. There are also a couple of light scratches.
